Closely connected to the Holy Cross Shrine Church, Mapranam, MARG is dedicated to rural development, community upliftment, and inclusive social progress.

Guinness World Records

  • World’s Largest Flaming Image – On September 8, 2008, MARG created an extraordinary flaming image using 30,500 candles, earning a Guinness Record (Featured in Guinness World Records 2010, Pg. 130).

  • Largest Candle in India – Recognized for crafting India’s largest candle.

Limca Book of Records

  1. Largest Candle in India (2007) – 22 feet tall, 1079 kg, 18-inch diameter (Limca Book of Records 2008, Pg. 65).

  2. World’s Largest Flaming Image (2008) – 30,500 candles arranged to form an enormous image.

  3. Largest Image of a Cross (2008) – A massive candle-lit cross formation (Limca Book of Records 2010, Pg. 34).

  4. Heaviest Candle Exhibition (2010) – 100 candles weighing between 1 kg to 100 kg each.
